Hey Austinites!

Here's a question for all my favorite friends and people in Austin. Kril has a good friend who is wanting to get married in Austin. Why not? It's a fabulous place to live, work, and of course, get married! I'm asking you, since I drew a blank when he asked me. Where are some great places to have a wedding and/or reception??? Any ideas?

ok, we have some other friends who got married at the Inn at Pearl Street on MLK just west of Guadalupe, if it's a small wedding, it's a beautiful place too! Spencer took their wedding pictures also, on the Hitched tab: the guy shaving in the mirror...I guess none of them you really can see the venue. anyways...here are the websites for both places:

University Church is also pretty...see amanda's pictures on his website...isn't that where you got married too?

A good place to get married in the Austin area is the Plantation House out in Pflugerville. Owners are Norris and Luanna Cole; they do a fine job of decorating, coordinating, and pleasing the bride and groom. It is a beautiful old house surrounded by lovely gardens. Most people are married outside under a big tent and then dinner/reception can be served closeby under another very large permanent-type tent. Outside tables are usually also set up in other places outside in the pretty garden area. Our family has attended numerous weddings and showers down through the years.
