she's walking!

yay, kiera is walking! this morning the physical therapists came for a final evaluation of kiera. we've met all of our goals since we started therapy in the spring, so they don't have to come back. woo hoo! kril and i like to say that she is a lazy baby. ha! she didn't roll over until she was 7mo., didn't crawl until she was 10mo., but now she is walking like a real pro. She is also getting into all of the cabinets, pulling everything off of the tables, unrolling the toilet paper, opening and shutting doors (with a big smile!), and even lifting the lids of the toilets. kril laughs at me because every few days i'll ask, "did declan do this? i don't remember declan doing that." kril looks at me and always says, "YES!!! Declan did all of the same things." i don't know why i was ever worried about her walking. she was going to walk when she was ready. we're so excited to see her moving about. she is so proud of herself when she learns something new.

thanksgiving was great fun. we spent the day with kril's parents in north richland hills. then the next day, my parents drove in from austin and lisa, andy, and addison came in from abilene. it was a full house! the cousins had a lot of fun and we got to eat a lot of pie.

we can't wait for christmas. let's just hope kiera doesn't break any more ornaments or pull the tree over.
